Destiny Mentor Volunteer Requirements

I Am HER Because God Said So – Volunteer Expectations

Destiny Mentors must be at least 21 years old, faith-driven, and committed to living by biblical values. They should have a genuine heart for mentoring and empowering others, while serving as dependable, compassionate, and professional role models. Volunteers must complete the application process, pass a background check, attend training, maintain confidentiality, and commit to dates that YOU choose through out our 3-month program. Mentors should lead with integrity, faith, love, and wisdom while helping participants grow in confidence, identity, and purpose. Previous mentoring, leadership, or ministry experience is preferred.

Are you comfortable engaging in 1-on-1 conversations with participants when needed, while maintaining strict confidentiality, appropriate boundaries, and honoring the program’s requirement to keep private discussions private unless safety concerns arise?
